Q: Do I Need A Membership To Take Lessons Or Attend A Clinic?

A Membership is not required to take Lessons or Clinics at Charlotte Tennis. We do have a Membership option for players which would allow you to save money on Court Reservations. Players not wishing to purchase a Membership, will need to select the “Non-Member” option on their CourtReserve APP to be able to register for any Programs, Lessons, Clinics or Court Rentals. Memberships can be purchased on our CourtReserve APP.

Q: What Is A Court Reservation Versus Court Rental?

A Court Reservation is when a Charlotte Tennis NC Individual or Couples membership member Reserves a court to play at Charlotte Tennis NC. Other Individual or Couples membership members may also play on the reserved court for free. Non Members / Guests must pay a $15 guest fee to play on a court reserved by a member. A Court Rental can be booked and paid for online in advance by non-members. There are no Guest Fees, so the person renting the court can bring whoever they choose. All players must check-in at the front counter. A Player Block is for a “Group” of players who want to play the same time on a regular basis and would prefer to pay individually, versus one person Renting the court. A Player Block can be “Public” or “Private”. A Public Block is for anyone to be able to View and Register who meets the criteria set up by the organizer (ie, females ages 40-50 for example). A Private Block is created by an active member and is able to be Viewed and Registered for only by the list of Names and Emails provided to Charlotte Tennis by the organizer. Charlotte Tennis will add and delete courts as needed to accommodate the maximum and minimum number of registrations as defined by the organizer. The cost per person for Player Blocks can vary based on Day, Time, Length and Member versus Non Members.

Charlotte Tennis is owned by Sports Connection, LLC. Sports Connection also owns Pickleball Charlotte. All credit card receipts will show as Sports Connection.
